Take the controls just once behind the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit and you’ll never again want to fly any other way.  This highly advanced flight deck package integrates all primary flight, engine and sensor data to provide intuitive, at-a-glance situational awareness.  The G1000 also incorporates a fully integrated transponder and dual Nav/Com/WAAS/GPS equipment.

Two large, colorful 10.4 inch active matrix LCDs gather and present real-time flight-critical data including traffic Information (“TIS”), terrain (Topographic and Relative), digital attitude and heading data - XM Satellite Weather and Radio receiver - Backup Airspeed, Attitude and Altimeter - Standby Battery. Garmin GFC 700 fully integrated flight control system with innovative features including airspeed hold, overspeed protection, pitch hold and coupled VNAV, the GFC 700 provides precise lateral and vertical guidance and capabilities formally available only on the most sophisticated business jets. Every component of this state-of-the-art system is designed to provide maximum safety, reliability and situational awareness.

Other features include: All digital, 2-axis (pitch and roll), dual channel, fail-safe system - fully coupled enroute legs, approaches, holding patterns, procedure turns, DME arcs, vertical navigation (“VNAV”) - WAAS coupled for GPS-only precision approaches - control Wheel Steering (“CWS”) for temporary hand flying without disconnecting the autopilot - Flight director command bars - Dedicated Back Course (“BC”) Mode.
